. His mother and father divorced
. His mother came from a family of 24 children
. His mother couldn't read
. His mother raised Ben and his brother, Curtis
. Ben was the worst student in his grade school class
. Ben becomes top student in his school
. Ben becomes a world renowned doctor
A Choice: Poverty or Prosperity
"I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and i can change that(poverty). It depends upon how hard i want to work, and i decided that II would change it."
Reflection: I think this reflection is very powerful because poverty is a choice not an option.

Duties and Responsibilities: Holistic
healing practitioners include alternative medicine practitioners who address
disease as an imbalance in the physical, emotional, spiritual or environmental
components of a person's life. The practice of holistic healing involves
treating the causes of illness rather than alleviating symptoms,
according to the American Holistic Medicine Association, Some holistic
healing practitioners are physicians who blend conventional and alternative
medicine practices.
Salary: $58,958
Education: It is important for students to
attend a school that has received either pre-accreditation (candidacy) or full
accreditation status with the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine (ACAOM). ACAOM is the only national organization recognized
by the U.S. Department of Education for the accreditation of AOM schools and
programs in the U.S. A school’s candidacy or accreditation status with ACAOM
represents the highest level of AOM institutional or programmatic quality
assurance available in the U.S. today. Moreover, graduation from an ACAOM
candidate or accredited school is a pre-requisite for taking the national
certification exams in this field.
Reflection: No i would not like to become one because it seems like a really hard career to do.
