Health Educator
Duties and responsibilities: The Seven Areas of Responsibility are a
comprehensive set of Competencies and Sub-competencies defining the role of the
health education specialist. These Responsibilities were verified through the 2010 Health Educator Job
Analysis Project and serve as the basis of the CHES exam beginning in April
2011 and the MCHES exam in October 2011.
Salary: $48,790
Education: Health educators teach people about behaviors
that promote wellness. They develop and implement strategies to improve the
health of individuals and communities. Community health workers collect data
and discuss health concerns with members of specific populations or communities.
Reflection:i would not like to become one because it seems like a boring job.
